Partners
Supporting those who are called for outreach work and those who help spread the Good News of salvation is an important aspect of our church goals.
PBC is pleased to feature some of the organisations and missionaries we support.
Campus Bible Study (CBS)
Jess is is a Fellowship of Christians in Universities & Schools (FOCUS) trainee at University of NSW campus. The mission of CBS is "Prayerfully proclaiming the crucified Christ as Lord of all, we evangelise, teach, train and send each other as God’s servants into all the world." Here are her latest prayer requests:
PRAISE:
- Thank God that for the true rest he provides for us in Jesus.
- Thank God for sustaining me through a busy term 2.
- Thank God for the chance to enjoy and learn about God’s family at FOCUS Church Camp .
- Thank God for LIFT conference and the students and grads that came to consider how they can be serving Jesus with their whole lives.
PRAY:
- Pray that God might give me a refreshing break and that I’d continue to rest in Jesus.
- Pray that God would continue to grow me in my conviction, character and competency.
- Pray for our FOCUS staff team as we prepare for O-week mission next term! Ask that God might bring many international students to hear about Jesus and trust in him.
Leading The Way (LTW)
LTW is a partner of PBC in reaching out the community of Punchbowl. They have a coffee ministry during Friday mornings while the HOH is on.
- Please pray for the Holy Spirit to enable the church and LTW to be a light.
Power to Change (PTC)
Maicy has been with Power To Change and PBC for a long time. One of her roles in PTC is coaching new Provisional Missionaries (PM) in Ministry Partner Development (support raising). Ministry Partner Development (or MPD for short) is the first "port of call" for all new missionaries after they are accepted to work with PTC. During this time, they are praying and looking for the people that God has prepared to partner with them, both financially and in prayer i.e. building their Ministry Partner team. She is so blessed to be doing this role, coming alongside their PMs, and helping equip them in building their Ministry Partner team, as well as caring for them pastorally, so they can report to their assigned ministry role.

Grace Baptist Church - Machilipatnam
Pastor Stevenson has been our faithful partner in reaching the Hill tribes of India since the early 2010s for Jesus Christ. He is currently translating the book of Genesis to the Koya Language.
Remember:
- Please continue to pray for him, his family and the church and his ministry to the Hill tribes.
- Pray that he can complete the translation of Genesis to Koya language. This is for the TALKING BIBLE or AUDIO BIBLE. This can reach millions of illiterates to know who Jesus Christ is.
International Needs Australia (INA)
PBC currently sponsors children in the Philippines in support of the ChildLink program of INA.
